City Colleges Chicago is considering a tuition increase, which has not happened since 2016.

Randall Miller, Chicago City Colleges adjunct professor and CCCLOC president: "Many adjunct professors struggle to make ends meet. The maximum an adjunct can make at CCC is right around the poverty line, $30,000." He urges the committee to fully fund adjunct professor pay equity.

@Chancellor_Juan describes how he improved CCC's financial situation—increased cash reserves, credit rating upgrades, increased grant income. It has funded mental health services and support, among other improvements, without raising tuition since 2016.

@taylorfor20th relays a question received via text: "Is there any conversation with CCC about adding every program back to all city colleges?" Some ajors are concentrated at certain schools for budget reasons, requiring students to travel across the city for their desired program

@Chancellor_Juan says that only healthcare-related programs were consolidated at Malcolm X College, so other programs (such as automative programs) were unaffected. Consolidation plans were developed but never executed.

@taylorfor20th seconded a community members statement that insufficient clarity has been provided on Kennedy King's funding; $5 million was advocated to them and committee members were "left out of the conversation" on how or whether it was spent.
