Director Harrington requests proactively that, as the work is completed, vaccine administration should be reported on, particularly the impact of the grant funding.
A lot of the vaccine administration work has focused on people with mobility limitations who receive, for example, in-home COVID vaccines. More information about this type of program in Cook County: https://t.co/XdP1k11Q7a
The report on Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Participation showed that 33% of the money awarded went to contracts $150,000+ https://t.co/StWDW6zO19
In the CCH Financial Update up to January 31st, CFO Pamela Cassara says the interim financials show that CCH ended with $24.4 million positive variance to budget. On a cash basis, revenues and expenses shows a $72.4 million positive variance.
Positive budgeting variance just means that actual revenue is higher than the budgeted revenue. Actual expenses are lower than the budgeted expenses.
Cassara attributes Omicron to an increase in patient visits. On the in-patient side, visits have increased during COVID variant surges.
