Protesters were removed from the Indianapolis City-County Council meeting

A full house tonight as there is a lot on the agenda. We are waiting to get started.



Proposition 90 concerning animal welfare service is first on the agenda.


After police escorted a few members out for interruptions, proposal 23 was presented and confirmed.

Proposal 24 was presented by chair Leroy Robinson, and motion unanimously carried.

The chair Mr. Robinson presented proposal 32 and motion was confirmed.

Proposals 49, 71, 75-77, 98, 89, 98-99, 78-85, 86, 25, 52, 50-51, 57, 64-665, 68, 93, 96-97 were quickly reviewed and a vote taken. All were approved by council vote.

Special note that proposal 86, by council member Vop Osili, was presented to be denied. That motion carried with no comments or discussion. Admitted as denied.

The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. after several late public servants were acknowledged for their service. Their families and loved ones will receive a certificate of appreciation from the city.
