The board also ensures the proper enforcement of the City Tree Ordinance, helping to maintain a vibrant and sustainable urban canopy.

The Tree Board partnered with Peninsula Urban Forestry to develop comprehensive management plans for the city’s parks and the street trees along Jewett Blvd. Given its unique forested environment, Gaddis Park received a separate, specialized management plan.
