The AOB authorized the establishment of $4.2 million in capital funds for small businesses and commercial ownership.

The 2024 Equipment and Arts and Music Grants, totaling $481k, were approved. It is estimated that 47k children would benefit from them.

The HRA authorized the negotiation to sell the Aqua City Motel site to Trellis for a new 44-unit affordable housing and to sell Stevens Square Residence to American Indian Community Development Corporation for repurposing to a substance use disorder treatment facility.

The HRA authorized awarding $3.5 million 2024 TOC to seven projects. These projects would provide 880 housing units, leveraging a total value of $98 million. Among them was the Pillsbury Creative Commons (Chicago & 34th Ave BRT) project owned by Pillsbury United Communities.
