“Premature babies impacts all of us.” She explains that that when babies are born too soon they may be impacted by air pollution, extreme heat, and smoking (vaping and marijuana)

Supervisor Pacheco proclaimed November 2022 as National Adoption Month. Since July, 300 kids have been adopted. Devin Baker and Kimberly Smith said they would like additional resource parents. They will be hosting an adoption day that will finalize 40 adoptions for 29 families.

Supervisor Quintero proclaims November 10, 2022 Luis Santana Day. He explains that Luis is the retired director of reading and beyond program. He did the educational outreach to families of all backgrounds.

Luis Santana explains that he is immigrant and wanted to establish better reading programs for families. The program has helped thousands of families. He continues to explain the program helps with English lessons and helping families buy a home.

Supervisor Mendes wants to adopt proclamation recognizing November 18, 2022, as National Injury Prevention Day in Fresno County. Christian is a trauma nurse liaison at the valley children hospitals, she explains that their job is to help prevent accidents with education to fam.

Supervisor Quintero pulled item 23 because of the request of more funding. Item 23 is a budget resolution to provide more funding for the Sheriff-Coroner-Public Administrator Org 3111 for the purchase of electric bicycles.

Supervisor magsig said, “Today is election. The voter rolls making sure that people who shouldn’t be on those rolls is purged in the state law requires one percent manual recount for the election is is certified. I am even willing to push for 2%”

A Delray resident said that the sheriffs are using Pom Wonderful parking lot and the sheriff department needs to distance themselves from Pom wonderful get their own property get their own tree anything. Pom wonderful is refusing to have their own water system which costs 1 mill
