Note: Like last year, council is getting a head start on next February’s budget hearings by conducting operational reviews of some city departments and their divisions to learn about their staffing levels, 2024 achievements, challenges, and more. This meeting is set to focus on the Department of Aging. It may run longer than anticipated. If so, just keep us posted on your availability to cover it!

Cleveland City Council’s Committee of the Whole gives all 17 council members the chance to meet and act as a committee. Essentially, it serves as an extra step in the process of discussing topics or vetting legislation before the City Council officially votes on legislation.
