DESCRIPTION:The Forest Park City Council is the legislative body of the ci
 ty of Forest Park. It is made up of five members who are elected to stagge
 red two-year terms. The City Council votes on new laws and policies for th
 e protection of public health\, safety\, and welfare\, as well as which se
 rvices to provide and how to pay for and regulate them. The Council adopts
  an annual budget and establishes the tax levy.\n\nThe Forest Park Mayor a
 nd Council meet on the first and third Monday of each month in the Council
  Chambers of City Hall\, 745 Forest Parkway\, Forest Park\, GA. The Work S
 ession begins at 6:00 PM. The Regular Meeting begins immediately after the
  Work Session.
