Charles Rector said the Customer Service and Experience Committee met June 20th. He said there are 266 metro operators of the 292 budgeted. He said 83% of buses were on time. He said the goal is that 95% of busses are on time

Rector said construction in Cleveland is delaying x61 busses
He said foundations at the new Maintenance and Operations facility will be starting this week.

Chuck Rector said the Internal External Committee met on June 20th. He said the call volume for service rose slightly while calls for service asking about route and bus information declined due to the use of online resources

Dejournett said Downtown Akron Partnership (DAP) has helped over 4,000 metro riders and cleaned over 7,000 bus shelters and facilities in Downtown Akron
He asked for an annual renewal of the contract with DAP

Robert Konstand said Metro is ahead of schedule with expenses and income.
Dawn Distler said Bus Operator Sam Risby passed away and she recognized his sister and fellow bus operator. She said the "million dollar operator" always had kind words and greeted people with his "million dollar smile."

Risby's sister thanked Metro for the support and for putting his name on every bus. She said they were "attached at the hip"

Derrig thanked Representative Emilia Sykes for her support and collaboration with Metro as the only Congressional Transportation Committee member from Ohio.
Distler said the upcoming Board Retreat will discuss future metro projects but will not include any decision-making

Dawn said it's "exciting" to see ridership numbers increase. She said "If you provide it [Transit] people will ride it" and that Metro is looking at how to expand services into Akron's Summit County suburbs.
She said construction is delaying busses X61, 8N/W, and 3 in the Kenmore, Cleveland, and Barberton areas.
