Detroit Neighborhood Development Corporation

The EDC established a subsidiary corporation, known as the Neighborhood Development Corporation (the “NDC”), to implement housing and neighborhood programs within qualified blighted or redevelopment areas. The NDC can implement a program to acquire property, construct improvements, and rehabilitate or construct houses for immediate sale pursuant to a project plan approved by Detroit City Council.
